ACI Switch Does Not Boot into ACI Mode Upon Power Loss/Restore

Hello,

We sustained a power outage within one of our remote Data Centers. Upon power restoration, a vPC pair of tor ACI switches, did not boot back into ACI mode. Instead we had to console into each switch and select the option to boot the switches into ACI Mode.  We did lose the ACI oob management switch upon power loss and had to find a replacement, while this issue was occurring. 

Could this have been the cause of the ACI switches not booting back into ACI mode upon power restoration?

Requesting clarity on a few points: 1) When you say that they didn't boot in ACI, does that mean that they booted into NX-OS mode, or were they stuck in loader>? 2) Are these remote leafs, or do you have a full fabric at your remote datacenter? 3) What version of code are you running?
