I had a customer ask me this today, and I wasn't sure how to answer. The only designs I've personally seen are ACI Spines connecting to the IPN/ISN for Multi-Site.
If you have a supported platform, say Nexus 93600CD-GX, can this connect northbound to the IPN/ISN for Multi-Site, while at the same time deploying EPGs on southbound host-facing links?
TIA!
Brian

Hi @bmcgahan ,
RE:

The answer is NO - once the Nexus Leaf Switch (Nexus 93600CD-GX or anything else) is deployed with the ACI boot image, it must be an ACI Leaf. If can't be "half-half" or anything like that,
So that explains why "The only designs I've personally seen are ACI Spines connecting to the IPN/ISN for Multi-Site."

Thanks Chris! I wasn't sure if that restriction changed in recent versions.
Also great work on your blog! I've been reading it since ACI 1.0 days : )
