Configuring Mixed-Link Topology: Adding Extra Links for Select Leaf Sw

Hi

I need to increase bandwidth for my leaf switches 101 and 102 to the spines. Can we add a second link from these leaf switches to the spines, while all other leaf switches maintain a single link to each spine?

All the documentation seems to suggest a homogenous setup, with either all leafs having a single link or all having multiple links. Is it possible to configure this mixed-link arrangement?"multi.jpg

Hi @Rez81370 ,

The straight answer is Yes you can.

But the question is, why would you need higher bandwidth only from 1 pair to your Spines? To go where? Most of the UCS-to-UCS traffic will stay on Leaf 101/102. And if you don't have Mulit-Pod/Multi-site or many other Leaf pairs, I don't see the point.

Hi @Remi-Astruc

Thank you for your response.

The key point is that I have over 50 leaf switches in my data center, with a significant amount of east-west traffic.

OK, fine. That was not drawn in your diagram.
