Disabling SNMP traps for access ports linkdown/linkup events

Hi all,

One of my clients wants to disable SNMP traps for access ports linkup and linkdown (F0532) events. I tried by "unselecting"  Access Port (eqpt.LeafP) under SNMP tab of the monitoring policy is applied to the policy group of the leaf access ports, but the error still arrives to SNMP.

Strange thing is that by removing all the monitoring object from the monitoring policy, the events still arrive.

I am wondering I I am doing something wrong with the monitoring policies management.

Here is my set up:

Fabric: default policy + SNMP destination set in common policy

Access: acees_costum_policy policy attached to the policy groups for access ports

Tenant: default policy

Thanks

What is the version of ACI?

I see the same issue. I found a document; I will try to apply next week.

How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

Hi @balaji.bandi ,

ACI version is 6.0(7).

I followed the guide in the link to setup SNMP. But, then I was asked to remove access ports traps, but this does not work..
