how to move EPGs across tenants?

Is it possible to move EPGs from one user tenant to another? Or from a user tenant to the Common tenant? Or do we just need to delete the existing EPG and recreate it in the other user tenant?  Thanks!

Hello!

It is not possible to move an EPG to another tenant. If the EPG was already in common, it might be possible to make use of it if your User Tenant EPG was was using a VRF or BD from common...

In any case... You can right click and 'Save As' your EPG making sure to click the 'Config Only' and 'Subtree' options, then delete it from it's current place. After, you can right click the AP where you'd like to place it and click 'Post' and select the downloaded xml or json file.

This of course will require some downtime and can be done with Postman or programmatically to save a little time, but this works in a pinch without any external tools.
