I got following setup:

Nexus 7k -> Cisco ASR 1001X -> Cisco ASR 1001X -> Nexus 7K

Running OTV between 7K and got following configuration:

Site 01:

feature otv

otv site-vlan 20

interface Overlay1
otv join-interface Ethernet1/9
otv control-group 239.1.1.1
otv data-group 232.1.1.0/28
otv extend-vlan 100-101
no shutdown
otv site-identifier 0000.0000.0001

Site 2:

feature otv

otv site-vlan 20

interface Overlay1
otv join-interface Ethernet1/9
otv control-group 239.1.1.1
otv data-group 232.1.1.0/28
otv extend-vlan 100-101
no shutdown
otv site-identifier 0000.0000.0002

But getting following output:

show otv

OTV Overlay Information
Site Identifier 0000.0000.0001
Encapsulation-Format ip - gre

Overlay interface Overlay1

VPN name : Overlay1

spradeepan,

Thanks for posting in the Support Community. OTV is not a supported feature by ACI. I would recommend that you open a new thread, regarding OTV, under the LAN switching and routing section. See link below:

Thanks

Jason

Hi Jason,

Thank you for the reply.

I have found the issue as multicast routing was not enabled ASRs.
