Remote Learning on a GARP packet

Greetings,

Assuming ARP flooding is enabled and when a GARP is received by the ingress leaf  it should do a flood right? and if so then the remote leaf (having those BD) will receive those packets and at this moment would the remote leaf learn the endpoint and populate the endpoint table?  or is it that we do only conversational learning?

thanks

Jay

yes if the arp supression configured, again that is only for that VLAN. this depends on the configuration and setup where you looking to flood this traffic.

Thanks for the reply, so just to understand what you are saying is assuming arp flooding is enabled and arp optimization is not configured then the GARP will be flooded and the remote switch will learn the endpoint and populate that in the endpoint table...right?

thanks
