Visibility in VM networking after rebooting one leaf from a vpc domain

Hi Networking Worker,

I'm currently doing some test on my ACI infrastructure which is linked with openstack environment.

We have 2 spines, 4 leafs and 6 Hypervisors. (3 APIC)

I can see each of these hypervisor on my aci GUI. We are running 2 VPC domain ID (1 for two leaves) which is working regarding some show vpc commands (port-channel, lacp and so on)

When I decide to reload the primary leaf (leaf1 as shown in attached file), I lose visibility on each hypervisor attached to leaf1 AND leaf2, it means for several minutes I can not see half of my hypervisor on VM Networking tab (ACI).

Is it normal ? (I did the same task on my secondary leaf and there is no lost of visibility)

It sounds like your hypervisor might not be detecting the loss or its actually not bonding the ports

When we reload the primary one (leaf1), the flow goes through the link between hypervisor and leaf2 (the bonding seems good)

I've still the issue. Not seeing my hypervisor after a failure on one of the leaf pair switch.

Traffic goes through 2nd interface but cannot see the hypervisor in vm networking until the leaf goes back (primary only)
