ACI APIC failed to discover directly connected leaf nodes

I have successfully brought up the first APIC of an ACI fabric.  It is running 2.2(1o).  I have a pair of N938108TC-EX connected by the APIC, and managed to use lldp to detect them. Example below.  Just have no idea why I cannot see this new node discovered on APIC, not even to talk about switch registration/decommissioning.

APIC1# acidiag run lldptool in eth2-1

Hey clementcheung,

Can you try acidiag touch clean, setup-clean-config.sh, reload on the your switch connected to APIC1.

While thats rebooting on APIC run acidiag touch clean and acidiag reboot.

Also Can we check the date between the 2 box simply by running the date command on both APIC and Switch.

Also curious as to what LLDP shows from the leaf.

Hi Alec

Thanks for your suggestion.  After applying acidiag touch clean, setup-clean-config.sh, reload on the switches, auto-discovery was successful again.

All the switches are new and just unboxed. A bit strange that we need to clean up the config/status inside.

Anyway, many thanks for your help!! Appreciated it.
