ACI GIPO valid range and usability

Hello, 

 Any idea why the GIPO Valid range is only 225.0.0.0/15 to 231.254.0.0/15?  This is internal to the fabric (or exposed to the IPN in Multi-pod) so should be not a concern if overlapping. Am I right?

This GIPo range is allocated to BD and living in the overlay-1 VRF (fabric infra VRF). If you enable multicast routing in the fabric, PIM will route according to your tenant VRF and will not have any interaction with the overlay-1 VRF. Overlapping should therefore not being an issue, as living is a distinct VRF.

 In case my fabric becomes a Multipod, the GPIo will need to be unique at the IPN network, right?

It shouldn’t have to be as the muti-pod will share the same APICs.
