Hi,
Kindly have a look on the below link for fabric policies and access policies:
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/aci/apic/sw/1-x/aci-fundamentals/b_ACI-Fundamentals/b_ACI_Fundamentals_BigBook_chapter_0101.html#concept_0FAB87635F2942A185BC9C7E88DA26D0
For compatible transceiver with respected IOS support version:

Hi Anser
thnx
Nice, that answer some questions but if the concrete Model gives some default regarding port-Speed we still don´t need a AEP for the "default" mode or we have the right to use all VLAN on those ports ?
Anyway I have this intressting issue regarding port/speed/SFP will the error disable go away as soon we correct the issue or do we need to shut-no shut or are there some timers that resets the error-disabled state ?
Port is down, reason:err-disabled(errDisabledIncompatPortSpeed-err-disabled), used by:EPG
We are struggeling to make the port ti run in 1 Gig port speed

This error shows "incompatible-admin-speed" as per the below table:

Open a case with Cisco and let us know their response on this issue.

A 9396 will run at 1gig with a GLCT 1gig copper SFP. Have you configured the interface policy group speed to be 1gig?
