Hi,
looking more info about ACI licencing
Due document ACI Ordering Guide for multi-site deployment do is really needed Advantage licence for leaf?
Old licence bundle for leaf N93-LIC-BUN-P1 is not enough?

No, N93-LIC-BUN-P1 is the Base license. You would need the ACI Base to Advantage Upgrade license. It's a price delta between Base & Advantage licenses.

Thanks for quick reply...
So, in new multi-site deployment ACI-AD-XF license for each leaf is needed?
What about MACsec on a spine, ACI licensing model is are leaf based, so do I need additional license for MACsec on spine?

Hi, what if we don't have adv license for all switches? Like we are doing expansion and ordered adv license for site A new switches and Site B is completely new so all switches have adv license. What restrictions we may face in that case, and do cisco offer evaluation period in this case if our ordering process is a little slow?

Hi @ali-imran
First thing you have to remember is that Cisco ACI is having a honor-based licensing mechanism, meaning the product trusts you that you have your licenses, even if you do not have them installed, and all features will function.
There is an Evaluation Period which lasts 90 days (usage days and not calendar days). The APIC starts to countdown the clock when it receives the report of the first license consumption (basically when you configure any specific feature). After 90 days, the Evaluation Period expires and cannot be reset. Difference between evaluation perdiod vs once it is expired is that when ACI is in the Evaluation Period, an info fault notifies you that the APIC is not registered. When the Evaluation Period expires, a major fault is raised to warn you that you must register the APIC.
Stay safe,
Sergiu
