ACI Simulator (ova version only)

Anyone out there used the ova version of the ACI simulator (my version 3.0(2h))?

I can do the basics (Create tenant, epg, bd's contracts, etc.) but trying to work out, if at all, I can connect anything to the virtual leaf switch ports?

I can get VMM integration completed successfully, not having any luck in working out how to actually use the integration successfully.

Not sure how to connect the fabric (a leaf port) to the ESX hosts if it is all virtual.

Are there any user guides out there that may be helpful for the simulator?

I'm also trying to get it installed but it errors. Do you have it installed on a Cisco or non Cisco server. Also, what specs did you choose.

Installed my ova Sim on non-Cisco kit. We have vSphere 6.7 (not compatible with the old sim when doing VMM integration) but it works as good as the sim gets.

Would highly recommend you get a Mini ACI, instead of Sim, that is what we are looking into right now. But the sim does help.

Look out for the ACI v4.0, virtual APICs are coming as well.

Thanks. But doesn't the Mini ACI work only on Cisco UCS servers?
