Hello All,

After upgrading the CIMC using Host Upgrade Utility from 2.0(3) to to 2.0(13n) ... using "Upgrade All" option

After upgrade when Server boots to APIC/ACI software 2.2(1n) it fails with the following message !!!!

"No key available with this passphrase"

"No key available with this passphrase"

Password (/dev/mapper/vg_ifc0-rfs1):

What am I missing here ?

Thanks and Regards:

BF

Hi Guys,

Solved it, two things were hapenning:

1. I was going for a not supported version of CIMC ... should be using 2.0(13i) .... and not 2.0(13n)

2. The CIMC upgrade deactivates TPM, need to manually activate it on BIOS (not in CIMC, directly on BIOS configuration)

Now it's OK

Regards,

BF

Thanks To Mr. Robert Burns

Your post just saved me a TAC case.  Thanks!  Not sure why TPM would get disabled in the BIOS when the CIMC BIOS setting is 'Enabled'...

thanks again!

This is worked for me also. We need to enable TPM and TPM state also then its working fine.
