APIC L2/L3 cluster

Hi All

We have an APIC L2 cluster, which was deployed a few years back (with multipod). Im trying to spin up a new APIC , but since L2 is EOL, we have a APIC-L3 box. Can we add the L3 box to the same cluster, in a multipod environment?

No issues mixing different models or APIC generations today. Just note the cluster will assume the lowest scale support of any single cluster member.

Thanks Robert. Need to replace all the L2's to L3's at a later point

The Gen2 APICs will be fine with all versions up to/including 5.2. They will not be supported from 6.x onward though.
