Can I upgrade the APIC-SIM VM?

I have a APIC-SIM VM running on top of VMware. I am trying to figure out if I can use a newer APIC-SIM ISO image to perform an upgrade...

I tried with to upload the image from my laptop directly on APIC GUI and I also tried to make APIC controller to download via SCP server on network but the issues I am facing are: APIC complain the upload failed because of error (not sure what error though); "no route to the SCP host IP". when using SCP option..

The APIC-SIM VM is using 172.16.9.100 for MGMT and SCP server is 172.16.9.10. Not sure I would need a route for the SCP connection....

I also tried different browser for uploading the ISO image but all presented the same error...

Worked for me using the Virtual Media option to version 4 from version 2 as per

Mine is a VM not a physical appliance...not sure if that option applies to me.
