Cannot send or receive e-mail messages behind a Cisco 3900 router
Whenever i try to access the SMTP server from/via cisco 3900series router I gets the output as "command not recognized". Due to this I am unable to send and received mails.
From the router front, whenever a client or an input passing via router it should modify the illegal commands to “xxxx” pattern and thus resulted with “command not recognized” error. But in my case even for legal commands I gets the same problem.
Even I tried disabling the ip inspect from the router end but still it gives the same error. I suspect that it could be a BUG for this version. Can anyone answer this query
