Hello,
I am setting up a multi-pod and the remote spines are 6+ hrs behind. They show as inactive in APIC. I have seen in some docs that the date/time might be an issue. Anyone knows how to configure date/time from spine CLI?
I tried the followoing but didn't work:
sp201# vsh
Cisco iNX-OS Debug Shell
This shell should only be used for internal commands and exists
for legacy reasons. User should use ibash infrastructure as this
will be deprecated.
sp201# clock set 12:45:00 1 June 2018
Process did not respond within the expected timeframe, please try again.
Internal error during command execution (11 b)
sp201#
Any other way to do this or is it a call for cisco TAC?
Thanks.

Hi
You can change the time from the CLI using the “date” command.
For example, to check the date and time you can type the command “date”, and to change the time you can use the following command.
date +%T -s "11:14:00"
If you need to change the date and time, you can use the command below:
date -s "19 APR 2012 11:14:00"
Hope this helps

Hi Manuel,
Thanks for your response. We have factory-reset the spine switches and it all came back ok. So, I could not try these date commands but it is good to know. Much appreciated!
Cheers,
Nik
