Configuration export from APIC to remote server

Hi,

I would like to test the export configuration on the APIC in sanbox Cisco ACI Multi-Site Orchestrator. I configured a remote server to my local computer, ip given by anyconnect vpn.

I get the error: Upload failed couldn't connect to server.

Looking at wireshark it looks like it can't reach me.

Is this operation not available in the sandbox?

Thank you

Lily,

There's an easier way than trying to export your config across the VPN (which is likely blocked).

1. On the APIC, create a new Remote Location for the APIC itself.

     Name: APIC1

  IP/Hostname: localhost

  Path: /data/techsupport
  Credentials: (admin credentials)

2. Create a config export to the Remote location above.  Note the file name once it successfully completes  from the Operational tab

3. Download your file via web browser from your remote workstation using this URL syntax using your Admin credentials when prompted:

https://[APIC-IP]/files/1/techsupport/[filename]

Ex. https://10.10.20.14/files/1/techsupport/ce2_local-export-2021-07-06T14-40-10.tar.gz
