difference between /api/mo/xyz.xml vs. /api/node/mo/.xml

Hi Folks,

could anybody explain me the difference between the API Calls with the "node" keyword in between?

So when do i need the

https://apic-ip-address/api/node/mo/.xml

vs.

https://apic-ip-address/api/mo/uni.xml

As far as I know, there is no difference. Personally I use the non-node version.
