Does Cisco SDWAN support application based segmentation?
can we have segmentation based on application, and assigning service tiers, workloads and policies for these pre segmented applications
I am not by any means an SD-WAN knowledgeable person. You might ask on that board for the best answer.
I do know in ACI, APIC can pull SDWAN policies from vManage (the SDWAN controller where these WAN SLA policies live), which can then be tied to application traffic in the Subject of the contract(s) you want to use. This will make ACI mark the traffic accordingly, so when it hits the border leaf and ultimately the first SDWAN edge router, it knows what to do with it. Sorry, my SDWAN knowledge is not enough to give you a more specific answer.
