EPG binding on AEP vs Static Port Bindings on EPG.

I recently joined a new client doing ACI. They are doing EPG bindings on AEP. However, this method of deployment trunk unwanted VLANs to a server where the AEP is used. It is also difficult for Access Ports to use the same AEP. The fabric health is now very low.

Does anyone have good experience on how to treat access ports when doing EPG bindings on AEP?.

Hello,

Not sure what is your concern here. Is it the low health score? You will have to check the faults to see exactly why the health score is affected. It could be possible that you simply have interfaces which are used by the AAEP, but are down. You will simply need to admin down any ports which is not used.
