Intra VRF but two different BD

EPG1 -- BD1 -- VRF1 -- Tenant1

EPG2 -- BD2 -- VRF1 -- Tenant1

A) from the routing perspective is the above scenario same as having EPG1 and EPG2 in the same BD? that is do we need to do any extra config other than the creating epg's and having contracts?

b) If no extra configs required then is the routing done at the VRF level? rather than the BD level ?

Sorry if the basic question and if this is asked earlier...

Thanks

J

Yes

No

Routing is ALWAYS done at the VRF level, bridging is always done at L2 - which almost equates to BD level

Sorry if the basic question and if this is asked earlier...

No problem - always better to ask.

I hope this helps
