L3Out SVI Interface Profile - having trouble applying DPP

Hi community,

I am trying to apply a DPP (Shared mode) for L3Out Interface Profile (containing only SVI), and encountered this fault.

The physical interface used for SVI is of vPC, which doesn't have any other DPP types (Access Policies or EPG). APIC and Leaf/Spine version is 4.2(5k). Has anyone seen this fault before and what might be the cause?

Thanks heaps.

HI @tuanquangnguyen,

What is the result of  moquery -c "l3extRsPathL3OutAtt" | grep -B 1 vlan-13?

The GUI shows this error if there are indeed 2 Interface Logical Interface Profiles with the same encap VLAN when trying to configure DPP.

I also found this for your reference:

CSCve23475

Conflicting settings restricted for l3extRsEgressQosDppPol for same VLAN instead of same interface
This is a cosmetic bug that explains a bit more about this error message and was submitted as an improvement to show the encap vlan when the case was vPC + SVI configuration.

Hi @Hector Gustavo Serrano Gutierrez

This sounds... bad. As we have two different Logical Interface Profiles (for IPv4 and IPv6, separately), using SVI with the same encap. This is a Dual Stack setup. Is there any way to configure it without having to change the encap VLAN?

Thanks for your response.
