MSO nodes - How many?

a.short

For some reason I can't find the answer to this...

MSO gets deployed as a cluster of 3-nodes. Done it, been there, got the t-shirt, but.....

Can it get deployed for more than 3-nodes? A question from a customer that I can't find an answer for.

I can't see why not, but I can why it you shouldn't have to as well.

Thanks in advance

we only support up to 3 nodes in the cluster. what is your use-case for having more nodes in the cluster ?

Hi,

thanks for the answer, I have not use case to justify 4 nodes. A customer asked & I could not give them a confirmed answer. I have always deployed 3 nodes, but they asked me if it could do 4.

The answer is NO, which suits me fine. I can now continue with my design as expected.

Regards
