QSFP-100G-AOC25M cables frequently failing

Hi everyone,

I wonder if more people are facing this same problem. I noticed that the QSFP-100G-AOC25M cables we used to connect LEAF to SPINEs are failing too often. I mean, Considering 3 different data centers, a different cable fails every 2-3 months and we have to replace it. The cable is still recognized by the devices and we can read their SN for example, but they don't come up. Sometimes after a shutdown/no shutdown they start working again but only for a short period of time. Infra team mentions that when removed, the SFPs are pretty hot. This happened as I mention, in different data centers, different switches, different ports, the only common factor is the cable type. Other SFPs like the 40G have not failed this much.

If anyone is seeing the same of has a recommendation, it will be welcome.

Thanks,

LeoC.
