What is the best way to do transit routing between two external ospf routers in same l3out on same borderleaf.

Routers are both in Area 0. One is part of old core network still advertising default gateway. Other router is advertising a lot of different external wan location networks and not easily tosummarize in supernets. ACI version 3.0

Would i set 0.0.0.0/1 and 128.0.0.0/1 as external subnets in epg. Enforce route import control on l3out and use 0.0.0.0/0 as route control import/export and aggregate summary import/export ?

Kind regards

Hi,

please find below a very good guide regarding "Transit Routing" in ACI.

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/aci/apic/sw/2-x/L3_config/b_Cisco_APIC_Layer_3_Configuration_Guide/b_Cisco_APIC_Layer_3_Configuration_Guide_chapter_010100.html

please find below a very good guide regarding "Best Practice Routing Design" in ACI.

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/aci/apic/sw/1-x/ACI_Best_Practices/b_ACI_Best_Practices/b_ACI_Best_Practices_chapter_010010.html

I hope this helps you, if yes, mark it as helpful :)

Kind Regards

As there are not of exmples out there yet.

The best practices are great in description but sometime not very clear how to implement
