VMM Domain

Under the VMM domain - Vlan Pool . usually the vlan pool allocation will be dynamic , lets say that i want to create under the same vmm domain another static vlan pool .

is that applicable?

Re: VMM Domain

Hi @IslamOmar ,

A VMM Domain can be linked to only ONE VLAN Pool.

BUT - that VLAN Pool can have multiple ranges, and each range can be either static or dynamic.

So it is quite easy to create a VLAN Pool like this:

Name: vC_VLAN.Pool
Allocation Mode: Dynamic Allocation
Encap Blocks:
VLAN Range           Allocation Mode
100-199              Dynamic Allocation
200-299 Static Allocation

Hopefully that will solve your problem.

Note that you can allocate static ranges to dynamic VLAN Pools, but you can't add dynamic ranges to Static VLAN pools

I hope this helps
