The code versions are filtered on Cisco.com such that you can select the product and it only shows you the relevant codes for that line.

As a full guide,

A1(7), A1(8), A3(1.X), A3(2.x), A4(1.x), A4(2.x), A5(1.x), and A5(2.x) = ACE4710

A1(3), A1(4), A1(5), A1(6.x), A2(1.x), A2(2.x), A2(3.x) = ACE20 Module

A4(1.x), A4(2.x), A5(1.x), A5(2.x) = ACE30 Module

For the ACE4710 and ACE30, you may notice the code versions are the same starting with A4(1.X).  ACE20 and ACE4710 ran very dissimilar codes, which meant a lot of work for us to fix bugs since we needed to check the two separately and figure out if a particular issue was present in its peer.  For ACE4710 and ACE30, the hardware is similar enough, we use the same code base. Pretty much only the hardware drivers and a bit of code handling a few extra NPs sum up the difference.  Because of that, we utilize the same naming conventions. Be careful not run the module software on the appliance or vice versa - the devices will not allow you to do that.
