CSM 4.1(2). I have application which use sticky. To take a real server to go gracefully down, the manual tells me to set the server in inserve standby, so all connections and sticky database can timeout. When I try to do that, there is no parameter "standby" in the CLI. Must I be in some other mode?

gdufour-cat6k-2(config)#mod csm 3
gdufour-cat6k-2(config-module-csm)#serv linux81
gdufour-cat6k-2(config-slb-sfarm)#real 192.168.30.27
gdufour-cat6k-2(config-slb-real)#inservice ?
standby only allow connections reassigned from failed servers
Also this command was there before 4.1, so unless you have a very old ios image I don't see why the command would not be there.
Just to be sure, there is no command 'no inservice standby'.
If your server is 'inservice', just enter 'inservice standby' to move it to standby state.

I didn't go via serverfarm. I did go directly to real. Problem solved.
Thanks for a quick reply.
