CSM-S Sticky Cookies

The CSM-S is configured to load-balance traffic between an ISA reverse-proxy server and IIS web servers running ASP.NET version 2. When I configured cookie stickiness with the 'insert' method, the web page simply does not appear (times-out). When I configured "cookie sticky ASP.NET_SessionId", the page loads, but the subsequent pages break and web server logs show the traffic is actually hitting both server (not sticky). Why??? A Sniffer capture shows that the cookie does indeed exist and that there are other cookies in use on this web site and also, the server response traffic is contained in IP packets that never go beyound 590 bytes...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Daniel

Daniel,

could you give us the sniffer trace when using cookie insert and dynamic cookie.

Capture a port-channel trace so we can see frontend and backend at the same time.

Gilles.
