Hi,

I have a CSS11503 that is rebooting on a regular basis, in the log it shows the following

MAY 27 22:30:31 2/1 1 SYSSOFT-0: ONDM: Sub-Module in slot/sub-slot 2/1 failed

MAY 27 22:30:34 1/1 107 SYSSOFT-3: ONDM: LifeTick for Sub-Module in slot/sub-slot - 2/1 failed.

MAY 27 22:30:34 1/1 108 SYSSOFT-0: ONDM: Rebooting system: Sub Module LifeTick Failure.

MAY 27 22:30:36 1/1 109 SYSSOFT-0: LOG Print/Send Agent quiting

Is this hardware or software error?

It is booting sg0710504

Hello,

What is in slot 2?  Sounds like a possible interface card?

You may want to post a "show chassis"

Alan,

It appears that your 8 port FE module may be having a problem. How many interfaces are being used on that module and are they all up?  You could try powering down and physically reseating the module or, if you have a spare,  just replace it.

DAve

Alan,

this is often a HW issue.

But there was also bugs fixed in this area.

For example :
CSCtb45641    ONDM Lifetick buffer crash due to run away scripted keepalive taking CPU

You may want to try the latest image first and if problem persist, replace the card in slot 2.

Gilles.
