Hi all,

I want to downgrade an WAE-674 from 4.5.1 to 4.4.7.x.

The problem is that I have already done an restore rollback on this device before from 5.01 to 4.5.1, see below.

Is there other whay to downgrade remotly, without any local access?

Regards Jan

Hi Jan,

I quickly tested in our lab and it seems that the CM doesn't check the version the accelerator is running before proceeding with an upgrade so I believe you should be able to switch your device back to 4.4.7 by just launching an upgrade of it from "My WAN > Devices > > Jobs > Software Update".

If I may add something: 4.4.7 was a built created for a specific customer and is not maintained anymore so all of the fixes in 4.4 only go to the 4.4.5 maintenance releases and I would advise you to go to 4.4.5D instead of 4.4.7 if this is an option for you.

Regards,

Nicolas

Thank you Nicolas,

Yes version 4,4,5D is a better version.
