IOS SLB vs CSS 11500 series?

Would appreciate any docs or other info comparing these load balancing solutions re: features, functionality, and performance. Can anyone tell me whether this info is available from Cisco or a 3rd party source?

I don't think there is one doc that compares the 2. If there is, I do not know where it is....

I would suggest looking at the configuration guides of both.

Thanks for the pointers, Steve! I'll review these docs. I've read device specific docs re: these 2 load balancing solutions, but they do not make it easy to distinguish the capabilities and performance of each from those of the other. It would be nice if Cisco provided a comparison matrix for these solutions or adds IOS SLB to the matrix that exists for LocalDirector to CSS comparison. Or better yet, a matrix that shows the differences between all of Cisco's current load balancing options. This would assist customers in choosing between them. Again, thanks for your help!
