developers want to telnet to port 80 on the vip....which would lead them to one of the servers..is this possible?

If you can get to the webpage, you can telnet to the port. It's a good way of troubleshooting.
telnet www.mydomain.com 80

must be another issue...i can ping the vip but not get HTML page when i enter the ip addy in the browser
