Dose Nexus 9508 support openflow in the future?
Best Wishes,

Yes it does

The Nexus® 9508 sports a compelling
software architecture that has seen
Nexus® OS (NX-OS) become a 64-
bit Linux-based system supporting
switch programmability, automation,
orchestration and visibility. The
NX-OS now allows for a level of
programmability unseen in the
industry; not only can the switch be
programmed via CLI commands but
now DevOps and NetOps teams can
utilize Bash, REST, NETCONF, XML,
JSON, onePK, and the OpenFlow
protocol to program the switch
externally.

OpenFlow is not supported on the following platforms:
Cisco Nexus 9500 Series switches
Cisco Nexus 3164Q switch
Cisco Nexus 9200 Series switches

Ok I cant comment on conflicting documents I don't work directly for Cisco you might want to confirm with TAC then , I only have 9300 here to check physically not 9508 specifically. I would nearly go with the newer document they may have updated since the release of the platform
