passive FTP and cisco waas

Hi Guys,

Has anyone encountered issues with Passive FTP and waas? We have IOS ZBF (1941) and WAAS setup. If we remove the wccp statements in the router it works ok, but if we put it back it fails.Currently we are doing more testing in the lab to isolate the issue.

Any ideas?

After further testing we found that WAAS doesn't like "passive FTP" when NAT is in place! If we take out the NAT statement from the IOS ZBF it works perfectly!Just wonder if this is a known issue!

Can you please share your toplogy [showing WAAS and ZBF and point of redirection for WAAS], also please share desired configuration of WAAS and ZBF.

sorry for the late reply Gaurav.

We found the issue is NAT! Cisco said passive FTP  over WAAS wont work well when NAT is in place.
