Hi,
I have a line card (A9K-24X10GE-1G-TR) that has gone down and needs to be replaced. At the moment, there is no service outage.
Could you please provide me with the proper procedure to install the replacement part?
Will the firmware need to be updated during the process? If so, what is the correct procedure?
Thank you,
Paul

In addition to the OIR procedure referenced by M02@rt37 , you might also take a look at the Upgrading Field-Programmable Devices section of the A9K Config Guide. I believe "show hw-module fpd" will show you whether you need to upgrade a newly inserted module's FPD image.
