Sendmail capablilties of the CSS

Looking for a way to customize the emails generated by the CSS box so that I can inform individual owners of application changes. Right now the information is VERY cryptic and cannot be sent to a specific person.

Also - I receive email regarding services going down. How do I receive an email when a service is re-established? I have my level set to notify. Should it be lower?

we've ditched 'logging sendmail' in favor of snmp traps. We can then do correlation between downs and ups, etc.

Did the same thing until I went to 5.0 build 13. Then the MIBS changed and made my HPOV alertings inoperable. The fix was the MIBS had to be downloaded from the CSS and then re-added to HPOV.

Also, the backend management port address of 1.1.1.1 floods HPOV. You need to assign the management port with a real IP address so that the SNMP agent field has an address.
