I am trying to configure two CSM blade in two different 6509 chassis, my problem is when I configure alias on client side VLAN it start causing problem, and I see duplicate MAC address error in LOG.
If someone has a sample configuration for this scenario. I will appreciate every thing I can get.

you first need to configure the Fault Tolerant vlan/
ft group
priority
Then make sure one CSM is active and the other one is standby.
At this time you can configure the alias.

Firstly, you create Alias on the server side vlan not client.
When you create the server Vlan on the CSM, this vlan number will appear on the 6500 vlan list and needs to be allowed through the trunk between the two 6500's. You also need to allow through the trunk the client side vlan number.
Assuming your client Vlan is 1, your server Vlan is 2 and the Fault Tolerance Vlan is 3 then the FT config would be:
FT Group 1 Vlan 3
Priority 20
Preempt
Vlan 1 client
ip address 10.10.10.1 255.255.255.0
gateway 10.10.10.254
Vlan 2 Server
ip address 10.10.20.1 255.255.255.0
alias 10.10.20.254
Hope this helps
