My company used to deploy Riverbed for Wan Optimization but recentily we migrated to cisco WAAS on some locations and now we are wondering how SAP works with WAAS because we used to disable SAP compression for the Riverbed to work. Do we have the same issue with WAAS ? do we need to disable SAP compression to WAAS start optimize the traffic ?
With application native compression enabled you would not see much gain in optimization, unless you disable the application native compression and allow WAAS to do the compression where you would see most benefit.
