Hi Asif,

Appear that this is the same problem as in your other thread .. if you cannot ping, you cannot telnet either ?

Either your module is broken or no software is installed on it.

Have you followed the procedure described here ? :

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/routers/access/interfaces/software/feature/guide/ism-sm-sre.html#wp1119304

and :

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/app_ntwk_services/waas/waas/v421/module/installation/guide/wssmcfg.html

There are other commands you can issue described in the first link.

You'll need to download the SRE-SM install zip file and use that if your module is empty.

what's the output of :

  1. show inventory
  2. show cdp nei
  3. service-module sm1/0 status

Otherwise contact Cisco TAC to get assistance.

Best Regards

Finn

Hi Asif,

So there is no WAAS software running on the module (otherwise it would have shown up in the CDP nei).

Can't really find the Command reference for the Bootloader, but when you did a session into the module, can't you issue some (meaningfull) show commmands (I think at least you can do a "show config").

Otherwise you'll have to try the "service-module sm1/0 install ..." stuff to properly install the software on the module - remember to read the guides first.

Hi finn

After Install wass application software on module(SM-SRE-710-K9) , we are getting offline error on WAAS center manger .

Cisco Wide Area Application Services Software 4.4.3

And

Center manger Cisco Wide Area Application Services (universal-k9) Software 4.4.3c

WAE login: admin
Password:
System Initialization Finished.
Disk based software not installed.
Some applications may not run correctly!

WAEWAR#sh cms info

Error spawning process '/sw/merlot/bin/spen': Illegal seek
%Error in piping process. Quitting

*** Error: getline(): not interactive, use stdio.

Hi Asif,

you got these error messages :

>Disk based software not installed.
>Some applications may not run correctly!

so the installation failed !

Since you got these messages :

>WAEWAR#sh cms info
>spawnp: execve: : No such file or directory

does this mean you can log into the SRE now ?

If yes - try to do a "show disk detail"

Best regards

Finn
