What's the event?
It's a hackathon where you can work with AT&T, IBM, and Cisco to showcase your creative thinking and application development talent. It's for people interested in creating innovative applications that will harness the “Internet of Things” enabling the Federal Government to better serve their employees and the citizen.

How is DevNet involved?
Two of the technologies you can play with are our Enterprise IoT Tool Kit and Tropo.
- EIoT Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) USB-to-ethernet adapter that allows simple Python scripting to pull information from enterprise sensors across the network.
- Tropo exposes a cloud API for creating applications that use phone calls, voice recognition or text messages. We will introduce you to its easy-to-learn, easy-to-implement scripting environment designed for creating a wide variety of communications applications.
