IETF Hackathon
November 12-13
The Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) is holding a hackathon to encourage developers to discuss, collaborate and develop utilities, ideas, sample code and solutions that show practical implementations of IETF standards. The hackathon is being held in conjunction with the IETF 97 meeting. The goals of the hackathon include:
- Advance the pace and relevance of IETF standards activities by bringing the speed and collaborative spirit of open source development into the IETF (for example, targeted standards areas where ideas are flushed out, sample code is produced, and useful utilities are developed)
- Bring developers and young people into IETF and get them exposed to and interested in IETF
Cisco DevNet is co-chairing and providing infrastructure and support for the hackathon. Participation is free and open to everyone, but registration is required!
