ASA's not all detected

I choose the ASA5500 series driver for an ASA5510 firewall and OnPlus Beta says it's not a valid driver.  I know I've seen notes about 5505's, but if it's just the 5505, then the driver must say that, not "5500 Series" which would imply the 5510 is valid (as well as the other 5500 series ASAs).

Hi Brian,

The ASA5505 is the only device tested for compatibility at this time. I’ll get that driver verbiage updated. At this time we don’t want to imply we support all ASA families.

Thanks for the comments.

Would definitly suggest ASA5510 as well.  We have customers who us them at their main site and then 5505's at remote sites.  They use the same code so they should be compatible.

Brian,

Thanks for the suggestion I’ll work to get the ASA5510 on the roadmap.

Douglas,

Any word on ASA5510 support?

Brian,

We are working on the ASA5510 but it’s not complete. I cannot comment on when the fixes will be delivered to the production node but I’ll ping our marketing department to let them weigh in on the timing.

Cheers,

Douglas Smith
