Router Restart after Resync

Hi Andy,

We have by default our configs resync every 48 Hours to check for updates etc , these cause the SRP5xx to restart even though there is no changes this resync drops connectivity and I have a couple of complaints over this, is there a way to actually stop this but still keep the resyncs ?

Cheers

Phil

Hi Phil,

Default behaviour should be that the SRP does not reboot if there are no changes in the config file.

Does your config file include multiple instances of the same tag (each with different values), or any tags whose value might change through normal use of the device?

Cheers

Andy

Don't think so Andy, you have a fully copy of the configs we use but it's pretty standard in the prov part

$PN $MAC -- Requesting resync $SCHEME://$SERVIP:$PORT$PATH

$PN $MAC -- Successful resync $SCHEME://$SERVIP:$PORT$PATH

$PN $MAC -- Resync failed: $ERR

Thanks Phil,

I think that it is probably something in the router configuration that is driving the reboot.
