Cisco SPA232D - Call Disconnects after 1800 sec / 30 mins?

Hi,

 

Two queries in relation to the Cisco SPA232D which I hope someone can help with.

 

1) The Quick start guide makes reference to the administration guide, but the administration guide is NOT on the products support page.

Anyone can point me to a Cisco link that has the up to date doc?

Having said that I did find on a non Cisco site this doc (so I know it exists!) 78-20305-01 from 2012.

 

2) The issue that is experienced is that after 30 mins the call is disconnected.

Any ideas on what parameter to configure to correct?

reINVITE Expires?

I heard someone had success with this sort of issue by disabling SIP ALG on their router. If you think it is reinvites, you could try disabling them on the pbx side (eg in asterisk directmedia=no)

Hi,

 

the SPA232D connects to a SIP provider, so end users have no access to change anything except for on the customer equipment (which in this case is the SPA232D).

i.e. the SIP provider will not make any configuration changes at their end.

If you have any recommendations for changing a configuration at the SPA232D that could help with this issue, that would be useful.
