Connecting two SPA8000 Gateways by way of a LAN.

Our Telephone MUX failed recently and is unrepairable.  We purchased two SPA8000 Phone Adapters with the intent to connect them by way of a local area network.  We have five analog phone lines to use on ports L1-L5 at the office side of the network and five analog phones to be connected at the remote location.  I managed to get a dialtone on the remote side of the link but can not seem to figure out how to connect to each of the phone lines at the remote site.  We do not need any passwords or exceptional settings, only five extended analog phones to a remote location by fiber link.  Each SPA8000 has a fixed IP address and I can see both of them across the network using the configuration menu.  Is there any quick and simple settings guide to get these phones working?  I have checked around the internet and the Cisco Support Cummunity and thought I found a solution but I still can not access the office phone line with the remote phone.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
