Need to hook up a Linksys SPA2102 phone adapter to a Linksys E4200 router

I started a new position that has me working from home using a VOIP linke through the SPA 2102 phone adapter. I cannot seem to get it connected to my E4200 router. I don't think either can see the other. Can someone familiar with this help me?

What is wrong specifically?  You've connected the internet port of the 2102 to one of the LAN ports of the router, correct?  Is the 2102 not getting an IP address from the router?
