Netmask on (SPA400, SPA8000, PAP2T)

I plan to buy several Linksys products: SPA400, SPA8000, PAP2T.

In the past I had a problem related with the restriction in the network mask on the other product Linksys WRT54GR (I can't set netmask 255.255.0.0 but only 255.255.255.0).

Has anyone used/knows SPA400, SPA8000, PAP2T... are they enable to set netmask 255.255.0.0?

The Linksys product line is designed around a Class C subnet (255.255.255.0)

It is designed to work with small business and home use.

Thank you for your quick reply! This information looks like a policy of company for this products. But actually it's not for all Linksys products. I contacted with the tech.support of Linksys about WAP54G. They said there is no problem to set netmask 255.255.0.0 for Static IP on WAP54G. This settings were checked in their test lab. That is why I asked the question for this concrete products (not for all Linksys products).

I'm not aware of any policy to restrict netmasks in our products.

I tested the products for you. I have opened two CDETS against the SPA2102 and SPA3102. They accept /8 and /16 netmasks, but will not transmit traffic if any mask other than a /24 is applied.
